The Offspring are a punk band from Orange County, southern California. The band was never making history in the underground music world when it launched the Smash album sold 8 million copies thanks to the hit-hits like "Come Out and Play," "Self Esteem," and "Gotta Get Away,".
The Offpsring member Bryan Keith Dexter Holland, Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, Greg Kriesel, or better known as the Greg.K and Atom Willard. First formed in 1984 by Dexter Holland and Greg.K who was then 18 years after they refused to enter the Social Distortion concert. This band plays music influenced by the ska punk, grunge with the Seattle sound and even metal. Initially, the band called Manic Subsidal. A band with a garage band format is quite popular at that time. Noodles 21-year-old then joined and was originally only used by Dexter and Greg because they were both still under age for buying cigarettes and beer. Not long after, Marcus Parrish, a school friend Ron Welty, who later became the drummer for the band-join.
Still with the name of the band Manic Subsidal, the band released the EP in 1984 in a compilation titled Party Animal: We Got Power II with the song, "Hopeless", under the flag of Mystic Records. This is the moment where for the first and last time the band recorded a song with a band Manic Subsidal. In the midst of construction of this EP, Marcus Parrish resigned.
In 1987, the band Manic Subsidal renamed The Offspring. With a new name, The Offspring released a single entitled "I'll Be Waiting" with the label Black Lable. Black Lable is actually a joke (because it never existed) made by The Offspring because they are very hard pressed to find a label to produce their work. So they named the label that they make themselves from the usual brand of cheap beer they buy, looking for a major label. Formation of this band released a single moment is Dexter Holland (vocals and rhytm), Noodles (lead guitar), Greg.K (bass) and James Lilja (drummer). James Lilja only survive in this band in a short amount of time, his position was soon replaced by Ron Welty, who was then aged 16 years and became the youngest band member.CHORD AND LYRIC OFFSPRING BAND

Vers:1
lalalalalalalalalala.. :P
A5 F5 C5 G5
I wrote her off for the tenth time today
A5 F5 C5 G5
And practiced all the things I would say
A5 F5 C5 G5
But she came over I lost my nerve
A5 F5 C5 G5
I took her back and made her dessert
G5 A5 F5 C5 G5
Oh I know I'm being used
A5 F5 C5 G5
That's okay man cause I like the abuse
A5 F5 C5 G5
Oh I know she's playing with me
A5 F5 C5 G5
That's okay cause I've got no self esteem
Vers:2
We make plans to go out at night
I wait till 2 then I turn out the light
This rejection's got me so low
If she keeps it up I just might tell her so
D5 Bb5 F5 C5 D5
When she's saying, oh, that she wants only me
Bb5 F5 C5
Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends
D5 Bb5 F5 C5 D5
When she's saying, oh, that I'm like a disease
Bb5 F5 C5
Then I wonder how much more I can spend
D5 Bb5 F5 C5 D5
Well I guess I should stick up for myself
Bb5 F5 C5 D5
But I really think it's better this way
Bb5
The more you suffer
C5 G5 F5
The more it shows you really care
G5 C5/G G5 C5/G
Right? Yeah-eh-eh
Vers:3
Now I'll relate this little bit
That happens more than I'd like to admit
Late at night she knocks on my door
She's drunk again and looking to score
Oh I know I should say no but
It's kind of hard when she's ready to go
I may be dumb, but I'm not a dweeb
I'm just a sucker with no self esteem
Refrain again:
When she's saying, oh, that she wants only me
Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends
When she's saying, oh, that I'm like a disease
Then I wonder how much more I can spend
Well I guess I should stick up for myself
But I really think it's better this way
The more you suffer
The more it shows you really care
Right? Yeah-eh-eh
