Slank is one of rock n 'roll group on Indonesia, which is often voiced minority voices with the allusions that plain and candid. Slank is mentioned have a force fans of the most solid and the largest in Indonesia with the title Slanker. Without such Slank Slanker .. .. live without motivation is what continues to motivate Slanker Slank to continue voicing minority undercurrent .. which is sometimes forgotten.
Formed by Bimbim on December 26, 1983 for a bored playing music cover band and have a strong desire to create their own songs. And managed to become one of the musicians and special historic and influential of all time in Indonesia.
Slank is the forerunner to the birth of a group called Cikini Stones Complex (CSC) formed by Ben Setiawan Sidhartha (Bimbim) in the early 80s. The band only played Rolling Stones songs and did not want to play songs from other bands, in sum they were finally fed up and toward the end of the year 1983 this group was disbanded.
